The advantages of wooden buildings
The Stockholm Wood City, with its wooden buildings, will allow people to benefit from all the advantages that such types of construction provide, both for the environment and for people's health and well-being. Wooden buildings, as studies have already shown, offer better air quality, reduce stress levels, increase productivity and store carbon dioxide for as long as they are in use.

The benefits of the Stockholm Wood City will not only come from the wooden buildings, but will benefit from other aspects. It will try to close the gap in workplaces south of Stockholm, it will shorten travel times for more people and it will be an opportunity to make even more use of self-generated, stored and shared energy.
