Are you about to be fired? Here are the signs to figure it out before it happens
Each of us may go through moments of uncertainty at work, and recognising these signs could be crucial in preparing for change.
We have explored gestures, behaviours and situations that could indicate a threat to your job position, with the aim of providing awareness and inspiration to react positively in such circumstances.
Some of these situations taken individually may not be indicative of such a drastic consequence as dismissal, but taking a moment to carefully observe each situation and reflect on your personal experience is nevertheless a way to prevent unpleasant situations from occurring.
In some of these cases, however, one is not appreciated and one is not to blame for this: if it happens, it is good to look around for a new opportunity.

Some of these situations taken individually may not be indicative of such a drastic consequence as dismissal, but taking a moment to carefully observe each situation and reflect on your personal experience is nevertheless a way to prevent unpleasant situations from occurring. In some of these cases, on the other hand, one is not appreciated and is not to blame for this: in these cases it is good to look around for a new opportunity.
Reduced workload
Fewer responsibilities, no new projects on your desk, minimal workload: these are all signs to be concerned about. Unless there is a drastic general decrease in work throughout the company, if you realise that your colleagues are being assigned a much larger workload, it could be a sign that your boss or employer is slowly preparing your colleagues to take over your responsibilities.
Less talk
Your bosses suddenly don't make funny jokes any more, don't ask you how the weekend went and generally don't care about you as a person any more: bad sign.
Transfer of own knowledge
If the company has explicitly asked you to transfer your knowledge to a colleague or even a new employee, it could be a sign that you are about to be replaced.
Outside the project
When your bosses no longer involve you in new initiatives or exclude you from meetings, it means that something is no longer working as it should: you are probably no longer considered a useful resource for the company's development.
No growth
Your role does not grow or develop and you feel as if you are no longer learning anything: this could be a sign that your boss has stopped considering you for the future.
Fired bosses
Bosses in certain situations are also responsible for the professional performance of their subordinates. If your bosses have been fired, you have to be alert.
There is a strange atmosphere when you arrive
When you arrive at the office, you have the feeling that something is wrong, you perceive that the attitude towards you has changed and that bosses or colleagues behave in an aloof manner: this could be a sign of estrangement.
Your authority fails
If you are in a leadership role, i.e. you have subordinates who are answerable to you, but your boss goes directly to them, effectively skipping your intermediation, it could mean that you are no longer considered suitable for the role.
You get yelled at too often
If you feel that you have been 'yelled at' or called out more often than your colleagues in the last period, or without reasonable cause, it could be a sign of impatience on the part of those who have responsibility for your work and have to judge you. The decision to dismiss you may already have been taken.
You are no longer praised
You used to receive compliments even for simple jobs, whereas now you are no longer praised even when you do well? It means that either you no longer deserve the compliments, or your job does not deserve you.

The four main consumer rights are: the right to product safety, to full information, to a free choice and to be heard. Often, however, especially in online transactions, not everything is as clear as it should be, and one often runs the risk of running into scams.
Suspicious e-mails, random links, false information, fake websites: these and many other things undermine our computer security, as do outdated passwords and careless consumers. The phenomenon of online scams is much more widespread than people think, with hundreds of thousands of victims worldwide every year.
However, there are some very simple guidelines to help you defend yourself. Nothing complicated, just a few behaviours to follow if you want to surf more safely. Here are some tips on how to arm yourself against online scams.

The Neolithic site of Stonehenge, is located a few miles from Salisbury, England. Formed of huge stones, it is believed to have been an astronomical observatory in ancient times, with special significance at the solstice and equinox.
Specifically, these are huge megaliths positioned in a circular shape, topped by equally huge connecting lintels. The current position of the stones is the result of massive restoration that took place in the early part of the 20th century.
To this day, historians and scientists remain debated about its real significance. Included in UNESCO protected sites, today it is a popular tourist destination. The myths behind this place, even in 2023, are wasted.
