Frida Kahlo exhibition reveals lesser-known facets of the artist's life

Frida Kahlo's cultural influence still remains very important in world art today. Her way of thinking and her works continue to be remembered by museums around the world almost 70 years after her death.

The exhibition 'Kahlo Without Borders' is currently being shown in the United States at the MSU Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. This new work presents images depicting the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo when she was hospitalised for spinal problems and the amputation of her right leg.

Fascinating, mysterious, not surrealist but the reality of her personal reality, there is still much to discover about the Mexican painter who enchanted the world.
