The world's first flying motorcycle is a reality and reaches 100km/h

The world's first flying motorcycle was unveiled last Thursday at the Detroit Auto Show. This hoverbike called XTURISMO is capable of flying for 40 minutes and reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h.

It weighs 300 kg, has a carrying capacity of 100 kg while the quadcopter is 3.7 meters long, 2.4 meters wide and 1.5 meters high.

The Xturismo currently costs $777,000, but Aerwins said it will develop a smaller model next year and an all-electric model in 2025 priced around $50,000. Thad Szott, the co-chairman of the Detroit auto show, was one of the first to take a test drive.
